Question Ascona/Manta underhood light option

Underhood light was an option for the Manta and Ascona. When installed after the fact, the light switch at the top appears to line up with a punched hole in the rear hood frame. Can anyone with a 'factory installed' one tell me what goes in that hole to push on the switch to turn the light off?

Otto,
The factory set up uses a rubber bumper that has a tapered nub on the end. The nub pushes into the hole in the hood. The OD of the bumper is about 1/2" and it's about 1/4" thick between where it contacts the hood and the flat surface that works the switch. It has the normal Opel markings (logo and numbers) on the face of it. Most of them dried, cracked and fell out.
