More of the Ascona

Posted 07-27-2008 at 02:21 AM by oldopelguy

More pics, of the really bad part of the car this time: the trunk floor. It's going to be a tough floor to restore, were that my intention, but it should be solid enough around the edges for me to drop in a sheet metal box with supports to allow mounting of a poly fuel cel inside the trunk.

Some pics of the new Ascona project

Posted 07-27-2008 at 02:18 AM by oldopelguy

Just posting some pics of the new Ascona. Outside pics and driver's side front and rear floor, which is the only interior floor rust. Passenger's side looks new, strangely enough.

Headlight wiring?

Posted 07-10-2008 at 08:38 PM by flippinbruce

After removing the headlight rotators on my 69, I have two wires from the microswitch that i can not find out where they go. It is one of the switches on the driver side, looks like 14 gauge wire, one is red/black stripe and the other is brown/black stripe. any help on where these wires end up? Thanks
