Mod help please

I would like to know why my account has restricted access.
I would also like to know what happened to the blog section as this was less of a tool for others to see, and more of a tool to reassemble the Opel to which I had plans for. I ran into a fiscal adversity, and have not visited in some time. I apologize for my absence and lack of help to others upon the completion of [our] project. But I would like to know why I do not have access to just about every other tool: vbPicGallery, and more particularly why the blogs have been changed/moved. If they still exist, and if I have access, possibly a sticky at the top of changes in the last year/6months would be much appreciated.

The site has recently experienced a few problems with overloading, hacking and server access so I do not think you have been 'restricted'
Some of the parts and features of the site had to be shut down or turned off just to get us all back on line.

It is all being worked on and I doubt that you have been singled out - but remember this is a 'free' access site ... so what ever we get it is good value!

I understand fully. I realize I have not been singled out (most forums I have been on limit access on low post count members: ie. a post count of less than a certain number limit access to certain sections. This is understandable). As to the hacking: sorry to hear this as it is an ever present trend as of late to many forums/ information websites. I hope my post did not come off as a complaint post, or even "ticked off" post. I was checking up, and found certain features removed. I hope this type of malicious conduct does not continue, and hope for the best to the admins and moderators of opelgt.com . I was simply concerned. All the photos taken were hosted on another website and linked, and actually I will check back to see if the issues are resolved.

Like Jim said, We had problems a few weeks back where our host claimed we exceeded the resources for the shared hosting plan we were on and suspended us. I disabled a couple of add-on features like the blog and vbPic gallery in order to save bandwidth. I am in the process of moving the site to another server where this will no longer be a problem.

It is a tough time of year to find a block of time to do all this so I have kept those extras shutdown to make sure the main site does not run into capacity trouble again.
