Creating a Forum in Social Groups

Can we create more than one (1) forum in a Social Group?

The FAQ section did not cover Forums.

Interesting question! I didn't even know there was a FAQ. I just now found the "Invite a Member" feature. And used it. I think the Social Groups, and the Friends listing are cool features.

Can we turn off the *Forum Activity* report on the groups home page?

The message section can be turned off but it would affect all groups. Your fearless leader has the power to edit those messages.

By *message section* do you mean the text box for entering info on the Social Group's home page or do you mean the messages being displayed from the sub forum's messages?

The Midwest Social Group is the group in question.

OK, now I see what you mean. Posts from your forum being added to the home page. Your's are probably the only groups with that many active forums.

No, just inactive. The default for showing forums is 30 days. You can view forums older than that by clicking on the link below the forum.

What is the purpose of *Permalinks* in the post of social groups.
Was hoping it would nail that post to the top of the list.

Minor problem: noticed that the Social Group message counter is not working correctly.

The mid-west group's counter shows 18 messages when there are in reality over 30. Makes us look like slackers.
