OK. It's a little clearer now. I had installed a modification that added a forum in the Opel Clubs forum for Social Groups. That mod is not compatible with the new forum program. The author said it will be upgraded in the next few weeks.

I'll try to compile a list of changes with the new upgrade in another posting.

I found a program that will migrate the old social forums into the individual social groups. I'll give it a try during the week. (It's been a long day.....)

After studying what you have done, I see that I can recreate the midwest forums into discussions. It would be easier for me to use the new scheme. That way I could clean up some of the older forum segments.

So, for now, you can take a break.

It would be better to use the new one in the long run. It's more work now, but the social group forums will become part of the core program and not require any future changes.

Gary.
In the new social group fourms setup, is there a way to change the discussion posts from newest to oldest like it
used to be instead of oldest post to newest?
Not having to click back through the pages to get to the newer posts would be nice.
Sorry if I'm missing a preference option or something.
Thanks
