Thumbs down Zip code entry

I got kicked off to a page forcing me to update 'missing fields' in my profile.
I asks for a zip/postal code, but will only accept a US format...which is why mine is 99999
Poor /lazy formatting on the part of the programme writer..dunno if you can do anything about it Gary?

Similar thoughts here, is it really a required field as mines 12345-6789 and not really very close to my UK postcode?

You do realize that Canada is bigger than your little country?

That was due to a spam registration prevention script I tried in an attempt to slow down registrations by non-humans (Spam Bots). The author didn't take other countries into account. I'll change it.

OK. I changed it. The Zip/Postal Code block is once again optional at registration. The Spam Blocker code block is now known as "Are you Human" and is no longer tied a Zip Code. (Gotta try to keep a step ahead of those things)

Like you I was just kidding. I honestly love Canada and have dreamed of a nice Opel tour up your way in the proper season. I think your national anthem has a better melody than ours (with diatonic half-steps and flat 4s).

Plus, Robbie owns half the Opels in North America. I fully expect he's high bidder on this one too:
eBay Motors: Other Makes (item 270340724399 end time Feb-12-09 18:58:29 PST)
which would only be right since Canada is where it arrived. Seriously, I hope someone in the gang buys it so I can see it at Carlisle.

Cheers and goodwill,

Jim

No offense taken (or given, I hope).

Well, I do wish there were more opels in the Vancouver area. Good thing I'm close to Tacoma!

cheers,

jtb
