No longer receiving emails to threads

Hi Gary and staff,
I am no longer receiving email notifications when a new message is posted to a thread I subscribe to. I have checked my user cp and everything is setup to instantly notify me of new posts. It has probably been a few weeks since I last received an email from the site.

I started receiving them again after a period of not, but clicking on the link now takes me to the first post in the thread, NOT the referenced post, like it used to before the latest 'site upgrade'.

i just wanted to throw this out:

i'm a 2nd year MicroComp Database for Website Business Design Programmer and Analyst major. *the only word i don't know is MicroComp in all that... heh. i figure it means lowend computers, not super servers, since i haven't studied much of em*

my primary skills lay with SQL and PHP, and i'm considered by my instructors an arrogant bastard because i usually know functions and how they work before the instruction comes to them. lol. i'm still managing a 3.2 gpa somehow regardless

anyways, i don't wanna be a moderator or anything, but i wouldn't mind occasionally helping out with coding problems. i have my own projects in the works, but a change of pace is always good for creative solutions in problem solving.

There may be a conflict with either a program I bought to make the site more search engine friendly or a compression program I added to make the site load faster. Both were added around the time this problem came up.
