1968 Opel Kadett Twins for Sale

My name is David Northam, and my father has been incarcerated. I have two 1968 Opel Kadetts for sale. The pair together for $1250 or $700 each. If anyone is interested, you can contact me by email, or by phone (cell). I will send more info and pics if I receive any inquiries.

I really need to get rid of these as soon as possible. I can no longer hold onto them, and it would be greatly appreciated if I found a new home for these beauts.

    Thank you all in advance,
    David Northam

    David,

please upload some pics, so we can see what body style they are and what the condition is (mileage, condition of brakes, driveable...). Please also list engine size and 4-sp or auto trans.
    Thanks,
    Dieter

Um, I already have a pup from this litter. These were Kat McCoy's Kadetts, and I bought her SportWagon (more "rescued" than bought) when she moved to Oregon. I would be living on the STREET if I brought even one of these home!

I haven't seen the Kadetts first hand, but I have seen photos. They are both the sedan body style. One is brown (form Colorado) and the other is white (I believe) from California (Gil Wesson put her up to that one). Both are low mileage 1.1's, and both 4-speeds IIRC. The brown one had a fuel issue or something that limited the top speed to about 45 mph, and the white one had a bad clutch (again, IIRC).

David, what happened to Kat's Bronze Manta from Pennsylvania (via Charles Goin)? I though you had bought that as well. I had tried to get hold of you a while back, because I inherited the Auto-style radiator from it when I got the Ascona (which is a 4-speed), but since I didn't hear back, I had it re-cored. The Manta is probably SOL without an auto-style rad (although IIRC it was pretty rusty, so maybe it is done?)

Drop me a PM and we can exchange info.

    Pics, and a little info

Here are the pics that you requested.
If you are truly interested, or have any more questions, please email me at northam_david@hotmail.com.
I check that a lot more than I do these forums.

Both cars are 68 Kadetts (1.1 L, I think, can confirm), and will run with little work. The one needs either a carburetor, or a fuel injector, depending on which it uses. I can confirm that later. Both bodies are in great shape, but need a little paint. A bit chipped and faded. Weather stripping needed. Engines are both in great shape, but need some cleaning and minor parts.

    Thanks!
