Unanswered: Getrag 240 lubricant

Is there any special lubricant (oil) that is required in the Getrag 240 or can I use ordinary gear oil.

My preference is Redline MTL (synthetic). The Getrags shift very well with this stuff in there, I've used it since the early '90's.

On a couple people's advice I put MTL in my original 4-speed and it made for a noticeable improvement. Redline 75-90 in the rear end, the engine keeps regular oil for possibility of seals leaking, no leaks anywhere so far. Redline is good stuff.
