Translation ...
There is a marvelous FREE translation site on the World Wide Web called "Babelfish" which has a feature to translate whole web pages like eBay's listings. Just copy and paste the web address of the page to be translated into the box, select "From" and "To" languages and ELDORADO! you have a quaint translation ... just like Mike's above!
http://www.babelfish.altavista.com/ "Babelfish" comes from the name of the special fish that was plugged into the ear and whispered translations of any language in the Sci-Fi Book "Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. "Babel" of course, refers to the Biblical Tower of Babel - the 'fish' bit came from the author's fevered ( but brilliant!) imagination.

Um, before Otto pounces (and as much as I enjoy the sight of blood
), just go to:http://tekenaar.opelgt.com/getrag/getrag_240_mods.htm and click on the yellow parts. Print them out and get to it. Oh, and use the attached guide. I don't remember where I got it from. I hope it doesn't conflict with some stupid OMC-copyright It's pretty easy. John Warga and I modified his OGTS-sourced Getrag shifter in an afternoon. It helped to have a plasma cutter (which our vintage car club has) and is pretty much essential to have a MIG welder (both John and I have one). He already had a automatic, so he had the driveshaft (shortened by a local shop) and the proper cross member. After doing one, the next one would be a breeze. Um, don't ask....

It's a ten-page manual only, no parts!
