Yup, except Gil's is a Phase 1 engine, this one on ebay claims to be a Phase 2.

That engine came stock in some GTs, right?
Okay, I'll take it.
Bummer they won't ship it for the buyer.
As far as I'm concerned, that's not a bad price for the kind of power I expect it is capable of. For those of us who want to claim it as stock, that is.

Jeff,

it didn't come in GTs, but in Ascona/Manta B Rallye cars. The block is basically one out of a CIH engine, that makes it quite a relative to a GT engine. The block is a DOHC block though, and the rarity of it will bring the price up. This lil' puppy will easily go up in the 5-digit $$$-range.

For those of us who want to claim it as stock, that is. __________________ No Opels were harmed in the filming of this movie. However two Mustangs, a Pinto, and a Capri were hospitalized. One Mustang was euthanized the next morning.
