I'm on my second car with that engine (minus the supercharger) and I've always thought it would be great in an Opel.
My normally asperated version puts out 220 hp, but I don't know the torque. Bottom line; it wouldn't matter, it is quite adequate for the task at hand. I love that engine. My brother is on his 2nd supercharged 3800 series II. While it only gets an additional 20-30 hp over mine, the response makes you hold on to your spleen. Someday, someone here on this forum is going to mount that engine behind the seats and create a legend. Not me, of course. |
