Unanswered: Pontiac 3800 supercharged V6?

I don't think it would fit, but I always wanted to experiment with a Pontiac 3800 supercharged V6. That would make gobs of power in such a little car.

Post totally unrelated to a Rotary swap, so it gets its own thread

I'm on my second car with that engine (minus the supercharger) and I've always thought it would be great in an Opel.

My normally asperated version puts out 220 hp, but I don't know the torque. Bottom line; it wouldn't matter, it is quite adequate for the task at hand. I love that engine.

My brother is on his 2nd supercharged 3800 series II. While it only gets an additional 20-30 hp over mine, the response makes you hold on to your spleen.

Someday, someone here on this forum is going to mount that engine behind the seats and create a legend.

Not me, of course.

I'd be just as happy with just the supercharger on my 2.4 engine.
