jeff is this not going to hurt the speed of the gt ? still at least it will be easyer to repair the body work in 1/4 plate

Actually, BAZ, the 1/4" steel plate is for re-flooring a garbage truck. Lovely little project. Were I re-skinning the GT I'd be using
1/2"T-1.
