What is the consensus for Zephyrhills, I'm going to be there whether we meet or not.

Looks like Saturday is the day!
10:00 AM at the Village Inn for breakfast.
Then head over to the car show.
If anyone wants to meet in Clearwater/Tampa area and drive together to Zephyrhills let me know.
It's a fun swap meet, car auction and car show.

You also have some cool other cars.

I will try to get another meet, some place central for everyone.

I could meet you on Sunday someplace, the weather is perfect for Opel cruising!

How about this Saturday at Zephyrhills!

I found a bunch of old phone numbers of local Tampa Bay Opel people today!
I will contact them.
Going to leave work early, gotta wash my GT.

Good Morning!
Perfect day for an Opel meet.
It's a nice cool 50 degrees, with a high of about 75 and sunny.
Have my GT cleaned and oiled up for the big trip to Zephyrhills.
I will be bring a few tools and parts just in case.

Taking all back roads for fun, my girl friend is going as co-pilot so I shouldn't get lost.
She is a little worried about meeting a bunch of Opel car-nut guys, but I told her your good people....... a little weird........a little different...............

Remember to bring your camera, lots of cool cars to see.

Zephyrhills was fun, met a new Opel person.
No Opel stuff for sale at the swap meet, but some cool cars in the show.
I again was the best & worst Opel at the show....3 years now!
My GT got a lot of interest, they are still very rare around here!
Fun time, but so much to do, there is no time to talk Opel's.

I think the next meet will be at a park or someones house.
That way, nothing to do but talk about Opel's.
Any ideas?

Most of your members are in south Fla.
How about Daytona for a middle of winter meet?

I'm saddened that I missed it. Ray got some pictures for me early Sat. The Fiero with the blown Chevy BB looked incredible! I liked the Trans Am convertible too.

How about Middleburg? Last time I was through GCS, US17 was torn up from the theatre to the courthouse.

Hey Guys, I been working on a 1971 opel gt for a few years now. Im in chiefland floirda, bout 40 mins from ocala florida. Saw the thread thought it would be pretty cool to meet some other opel owners. also could use some tips on a few things i have came across. haha the car isnt drivable yet, but im hoping it will be soon. got a few ideas in kicking around in my head for a few things bout it, if anyone has any time and can chat about a few things that would be awesome. can just pm me in here. i want to try and keep the car somewhat stock, but add some ZING to it, ya know. and of course there is a budge issue. anyways, im Cody, in the center of florida. Hi Cody, glad to hear we have another Opel owner in our area.
I'm in Clearwater about 2-1/2 hours South of you.
I have gone camping in Chiefland, nice area and cool spring fed lakes.
We have a meet in Zephyrhills once a year, good bunch of guys.

Lyle, thanks and yea i prolly go to clearwater atleast once every 3 months, or try to, my nana is there, i use to be there all the time. she lives over on Indian Rock Beach Road. The only thing bout my area there isnt to many guys my age thats into cars. the ones i use to work with all moved to miami. Thanks for the Welcome.

HEY guys, We got a rather big car show comin up in a few months, and im gonna do my best to get my somewhat done to get it there, but i was wondering if some of yall would like to come up and help support the opels! its a festable of lights or something like thats, its in Fanning Springs normally in the beg-mid of december, but ill get more info. was just curious if any one around me was doing that type of stuff with there opel.

I get to W. Palm Beach, Florida every few months. Where is the show .. I'd enjoy seeing it if it's within a reasonable distance or If I can hit it on the way in or out of state

Cody had an event he mentioned, I missed his post.
Doesn't have to be a big event, meet at a park, somebody's house.....
The weather is getting perfect for an outside meet!
Any ideas?
