Unanswered: ALDL (OBD) PC-to-ECU etc. etc.

Has anyone managed to connect their car ECU to their PC to extract sensor data and maps? I'm stuck with trying to find a program that would communicate with mu Motronic m1.5 ECU on my Kadett. The only program that is working, is the Opelscanner, which is a demo so all I get are the temp sensors, rpm and battery voltage.

I'm using a DIY interface from Club calibra's page. I also made an interface based on MAX232 chip, but that one will not work with any of the programs I have.

Any help is appreciated.

About the only way you will find a computer in one of the cars on this site is if someone takes their laptop computer with them.
This site specializes in mainly the classic period of Opels from the late 60's thru 1975. The 75's do have a computer brain for the fuel injection but that is the closest we get around here.

We struggle along with Weber carburettors and Pertonics ignition modules here - most of us just have GTs to escape the digital madness that modern cars employ.

This came up in the Google advertisements at the top of the page here:

Will that help you?
