Unanswered: Stock 75 fuel pump
Fuel pump waveform - Opel Photo Gallery I was expecting an eight amp current draw with the pump. If you look at x1-x2 thats .. oh lets say 27 ms.. its only turning 2222rpm's. The pump is heading south with peak to peak of over one amp. This car runs just fine with no driveability problems other then a misfire at idle. If I recall right the old bosch pumps had a large impeller. |

That pattern was off of Gene's sport wagon, as far as I know it's still running.
I made a very basic mistake by not checking the grounds. I found out later that week or so that John found the chassie ground strap dangling in the wind. So that would explain the low current. Here's another look at fuel pumps this time its a nissan. http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/g...e/fuelpump.jpg |

Every FI Opel manta i have owned has had this small miss at idle. I have tried every thing over the years and have just learned to live with it. Never had a scope to run this analysis. All grounds are good on my car. Ron.
