Sounds daft but are you sure you're not hitting the rev limiter?
Failing that unfortunately i don't know anything about the Haltech set up, have you tried contacting one of the UK Astra forums, there's plenty of 16v's about.

Shouldn't you use batch injector firing without a cam sensor?
I'm not familiar with the Haltech. ohh 60-2 and a "cam home" which is a cam sensor? I dont know if Opel used the rising edge or falling of the cam sensor might be something to look into. Last edited by wrench459; 09-24-2008 at 09:15 PM. |

on haltech,
if you want to use sequantial injection and direct fire ignition need a cam signal(ecu must see 720 degree) last week i use semi-sequantial injection the car cuts nearly 7500 rpm(1 and 2 gears) on third gear car cuts at 6500 ![]() i want to try semi sequantial and waste-spark ignition beacause i dont need a cam signal my friend on his haltech he uses without cam sensor motronic 60-2 only but yesterday i tried waste-spark ignition with boch ls1 coils(inbuilt modules) i use two signal chanel 1=cyl1 and cyl4 chanel 2:cyl2 and cyl3 car sometimes run after this result i changed my ignition wiring chanel1:cyl1 and cyl3 chane2:cyl4 and cyl2 but there is no diffrence i am not good at ecu tuning but i know my problem is cranck sensor readings. so i want to change my trigger system i want to use 60-2 or 36-1 but i m not sure about how can i install
