The 1.5 motor uses the same fuel pump as the 1.9, correct?

Nope, the 1.5 pump has smaller pressed-in brass fuel lines (1/4"). However no problems using a 1.9 pump physically and funtionally, unless you're building a 'concours' 1.5 litre!

Heavens no, the poor little Wagon that has this motor has seen better days. Right now, it's just a cheap means of transportation for a nice old lady.

Hope the nice lady isn't in a hurry to get where she in going, you measure the 0 to 60 time with a 3 minute egg timer. We had one at the shop that had the 1.5 that we used as a shop vehicle tp run back and fourth and here and there. I started to Suffolk in it one day to the machine shop (25 miles) and had three crankshafts and three blocks in the back along with the usual junk that was hauled around all the time. I had about a 20-25 MPH headwind and flat on the floor I could not run the speed limit (70MPH) on the Interstate, but it was as dependable as sunrise
