anyone useing the mr gaskit fuel pump my question is does it need a fuel regulater for a 1.9 32 36 webber setup

What is the pump rated at? 32/36 carbs only need 3-4 psi of fuel.

Yes I have one and yes it needs a reg. don't mount it on the carb. it will vibrate apart. Ask me how I know that

I had one and it crapped out after 3 months. you should get the carter that they suggest on this site.

If the pump is electric, you should mount it at the tank away from heat. They electrics push fuel more efficiently than a mechanical that sucks better. Definitely use a regulator, and you can put a little tee inline after the reg to see what pressure that's in the system. Put the gage in the tee, and NOT in the car. A leak and a spark can ruin your whole day!
