Not the gasket, I was planning on using some cork/rubber material for that. I was talking about the goop of rubber that sealed the top of the sensor unit. Is it just not nessicary?

???
I don't recall any rubbery goop on top of my sensor when I took it out. Perhaps it was some seam sealer or undercoating or something that got on there inadvertently?
If you have the cork gasket in good condition, there shouldn't be anything else required to make a good seal. jtb |
