Unanswered: Tank Filler Hose

The 2 1/4 inch filler hose on my '72 wagon dried out, cracked and was leaking. I ordered a replacement from my local NAPA store (P/N NBH 1055). Well, they received a 3 foot long piece. They were pretty accommodating and sold me a foot long section for $20.00. The list is $38.00/foot.

I can get some more from them if anyone else needs a filler hose replacement. (Other NAPA stores may not be as helpful)

did the same for the manta when i noticed that everytime i filled up the tank i was dripping fuel. NAPA is a great source for many parts and will match prices on any competitor part in the area. Ron

Gary, I used fuel cell filler hose from a local racing shop. IIRC, it was $10 per foot.

For anyone's information, I got a short piece of hose from a marine supply store, they sold it by the inch. They got it from industrial hose supplier (Greenline). I have been to Greenline myself for other hoses now, much better to deal directly. See if there is an industrial hose supplier in your area, this might be the easiest and cheapest solution.
