photo posting for members 101

folks it looks like some members cant get the hang of posting photos with a title that is not a default a rule that has been in place for over a year so
first work out where you are going to put it ,its a drop down box and read carefully as some are headings and cant be posted in (sorry the photos between paragraphs are so small ,click on then to see bigger photo)

next browes your pc and pick the photo you want to post (a jpeg works best )

next add a title that is not a default like cam 0223 or ade 3004 or scan 01
use something discriptive i think we have 300 "GT" and "manta" titles

you can add a discription more fully in the big box

this way photos will be approved post haste

all photos not titled will be deleted from now on so you will have to repost with title

for posts in a thread after adding text scroll down the page till you come to manage attachments and click on it
use the brows button to find the photo you want to post (make sure its in a format the site uses from the list and of a size the site will take)
upload and close box then submit reply

how do I move my photos to my garage? that way I can leave all the group and other opel pics in the gallery and then put my stuff in my garage need 101 basic basic here..

calvin open the manage button on the top right of the banner of the garage and make a new file with the form that opens ,submit it then add photos (must be around 75-100 k to fit )and add text
you can add them from your pc or a host site
i cant see a way to add them from the opel site but im sure thats just me

why are the most recent member uploads no longer on the opening page?

this was my most favorite feature.

That feature will return (along with the parts review and ads preview).
All the recent upgrades to the Photo Gallery, Forum and main page made that code obsolete and it was causing errors.

Decembers is now open for uploads. Go to: Opel of the Month - Opel Photo Gallery and click on the Upload Photo link in the upper right.
