Opel Videos

I've been searching the internet for a while now and I can't seem to find any good Opel videos (in mpg, mpeg, wmv... ect format). The only ones I could find where those old ones that was used for commercails, and none of them include any sound that the GT makes. So if you have any videos of your GT or any other Opels I would like to collect a bunch so I can make one big video, and even include OpelGT.com into it. You can send them in to badbrad4334@hotmail.com. I prefer mpg or wmv files but as long as it plays in Windows Media Player, I'll take it.

Most folks here know the red manta with the volvo turbo has become a bit of an internet classic, but I had never seen this particular video set to music. It also has some good shots of the car's construction...very cool!

I haven't seen any TV commercials for the GT other than the German GT commercials from the late 60's. Was there ever any in English. In view of the fact that 70% were shipped here you think Buick spent something on a TV campaign in the states. I do recall seeing the "Little Brute" spots that featured the Kadett. I even have one on tape with Johnny Weissmuller (Tarzan)...very cool!

do you have a down load manager ? you need one

copy the "embed " address to the right of the vid and down load that

result 1 wav file

Brad, if you or anyone else here want to, and have the ability, to create a video clip from a videotape, we could show our friends a twenty five lap race from inside a GT. Not a great race, we took third, all the wrecks happened behind the camera. But the sound is good if you like 1.9s at 7100 rpm.
I could mail the tape to anyone who can do this.

This is a site with a lot of vids from historic rally's in Belgium.
There are some nice manta's and Kadett's to see in action but no GT's

Nicely done Brad....especially seeing my little beastie mid-way through.

Now all I need to do is dig her out of the garage (currently blocked in by 3 other GT's and Kadett C coupe) and get the 2.4 motor sorted once and for all.

If anyone needs I can convert just about any kind of tape to digital and in pretty good quality.

I can also host some pretty large video files if anyone needs.
