Sell 1972 opel gt 1.9 block engine

Runs great, needs oil pan, original head, no intake. asking $500

What kind of goodies does this engine have? I presume for $500 its been rebuilt with high compression pistons lately and the head has been rebuilt as well... or is this just a worn motor?

Yes, Mark, I'm afraid in this crowd an engine core hasn't much value, thus for $500 we want to assume this engine is verified to be in very good or better yet, excellent condition, ready to go many a mile yet. $500 wouldn't be quite enough for this plus recent rebuild with new pistons, sorry Paul!
Also I fear a moderator is gonna jump in any minute now and ask you to peddle it in the want ads, not the forums...

quick read shows no pan and an original head. Kinda hard to put faith in a motor with no pan and no head work. At least a valve job or at a minimum the main and rod specs since the pan is off.. I'd give 50 for it delivered....maybe 100 but no more.
