Pretty cool, but what's with the big-assed button added to the right of the cluster?
Watched it on Kansas City CraigsList and then Ebay where it got bids before
the action suddenly ended. Did someone buy it? I considered it, but no room as did one of our other members who went and tried to see it but the owner was gone.
Just curious.

What ...we got here...is........failure......................... to communicate....
Some men,you just cant reach...so you get what we had here last week...which is the way he wants it.
Well, he gets it...I dont like it, any more than you men...
It might still be available since they pulled it before the auction was over.
If anyone is interested.

Mark;
I don't know whether they pulled the auction, or it just ended with no bids. But, contact the seller and see if you can strike up a deal.

OK...I suspect it's about time for one of those "Too late, it's heading to Canada" type messages.![]()

Gene.
It was pulled after at least four bids by two bidders. This link is from before bidding started hence, no bids show.
No room for it or I would have jumped on it back when it was on craigslist in Kansas City Mo before Christmas. I pointed it out to one of our members who lives in MO. and he contacted the guy and arranged to look at it but when he got to where it as stored he waited and the guy never showed. I suspect a deal was made off line from fleabay, maybe by one of the bidders. Just wondered if one of ours got it.

That's cool. Just that the Ascona Sedans come up so rarely, and this one's in nice shape, with the a/c too.
"Yes, I do have a rifle rack in my Sportwagon"
I emailed the guy just now to see what he did with it. Mark put me onto this car last fall and over thanksgiving I went to look at it. He said he would leave the car in his driveway but when I got there it wasnt. Couldnt get him by phone either so I never got to see it. He didnt want to come lower than 2K.
I had plent of pics of it and there was some bad rust in the lower drivers quarter but he said it was only surface?? He didnt know how to make it run good, was looking for someone to work on it for him. I offered but he declined when I told him I wasnt in the business but just a collector.

I'd say that's a safe assumption...

Whoa, easy everyone. I never said that I bought the car. Although I do wish that I did
. If I come home with one more car I may end up with one less wife. I simply know who did get it and where it's headed, and it's not Rob........ this time.

Forum is acting wonky, I had a post all typed out and then it went blank. Oh well.
Anyways, I don't think that "Quahog's Most Eligible Bachelor" checks in here often enough to claim the car, but I am not going to be the one to spill the beans on him in case he wants to keep it quiet. Let's hope this car doesn't turn into a "Guagmire" like the last one.
Bottom-line, the car is going to a good home.

OK, who bought it? It's no big deal, it's their's now, just curious as to who did buy it.![]()

Well, it will be going past my house on the way to it's new home. Not stopping though.
