Looking for Orange Minichamps Opel GT

OpelGTBoy70,

I know that your post on the Opel GT forum about the orange Minichamps Opel GT is an old one...

I had a 1972 Opel GT, orange in color, and am searching the web diligently trying to locate one of the orange Minichamps Opel GTs, of which you had two in your 2008 post...

I am writing you, just per chance, you might still have one available for the right price.

Even if yours is long ago sold, any advice you might provide me to locate one would be appreciated. I have been searching Ebay, and have found two on overseas Ebay sites, but they would not allow me to convert $$$.

My Email is: frhager@iccec.org

Hope to hear from you. Bless you. Thank you in advance.

Shalom,

Fr. James Hager II

James;
We have discussed this in another thread. It seems these 1/18th scale GTs are getting pricey REAL quick. One solution was to buy one of another color, and hopefully cheaper, then dis-assembling it, and have it professionally airbrushed the color you want it. Aardvark (Mark Paar) and I have done this a few times and it's really not that hard to do. It also lets you get the GT you want with less expense.

If you place an order for the soon to be released upcoming white one, you won't have to pay an arm and a leg for it. And like Gene says, it can be repainted orange.
