Interesting use of Opel engine

I found this in the lawn and garden area of the local CL and I was surprised to see the engine and tranny listed.

Hey Dean - hope all is well with you. Thanks for pointing out this unique little tractor. Thiensville is just 3 miles away from me, so if anyone is interested in this, I could give it a once over.

Just curious . . . but, go see which Opel engine is used . . . please. Pics?

Yes, pics would be cool. I can't figure out which engine had the exhaust on the driver's side.

. . . uh, the '58-'62 Rekord 1.5/1.7 OHV engines imported here did and also had non-crossflow heads . . .

I will contact the guy and see if I can get more pics, either from him or by myself. It would be interesting to see how he has it set up.

I'll try calling the guy on Thurs and see if I can get there Thurs evening (or Fri-Sun) to check it out. It is back to school time so things are busy - but never too busy to squeeze in some Opel time!

Thanks Jeff, I was going to try this weekend too but, I was informed we have plans... The in(out)-laws are coming for the weekend. WOO HOO!!

Here is another interesting one, I don't know why of all things to use for a hot rod front suspension..... chassis for street rod
