Northern Invasion-2008 Nationals Caravan?

We are leaving from Tallmadge, Ohio around 7:00 a.m. on Friday morning to head down to Nationals. Don McLean from Michigan will be joining us. If any others would like to meet up with us, let us know.

We also still have 2 double beds, 2 couches and some floor space if any of you would like to travel down to our place on Thursday and spend Thursday night here with us and then caravan down with us on Friday (this offer includes pizza for dinner ) Just PM us and let us know when you will show up on Thursday evening and if you need directions.

Also, there has been some discussion of meeting up with other Opelers somewhere in West Va on Friday morning (Tom C. and John & Connie possibly). Anyone have any ideas on whether this will work out? I am guessing we will get to Charleston, WVa somewhere around 10:30 or so.

We need to get some ideas on this as Nationals Time is Rapidly approaching!

Let's see what we can work out.

I don't have specific plans yet, nor do I know your route and whether or not we could cross paths, I will either leave on Thursday or Friday, I will know within the next few days. If it turns out we can hook up that would be great, no Opel but ............ New '08 BMW M3 that I am picking up this Friday . What a great way to get the break in mileage out of the way.

I think you have our phone number. So far our plans are to leave here thursday morning and travel HY64 over to possibly Charleston WV. We may sleep in and hook up with ya'll.

We are traveling down Route 77 South the whole way. You are welcome to stay here Thursday night if it works into your plans. Let us know.

If your Hotel is just off 77 somewhere, it might be a good place to meet up, if this works out. I believe Tom C if planning come down from PA and meet us too. Haven't heard for sure.

Chris and I will be heading east tomorrow morning. We are making a vacation out of this Opel adventure. We will be going to Colonial Williamsburg, and the NC shore. Lots of space for a weeks worth of luggage.

It is going to be interesting to see what the weather does. If Hurricane makes landfall around New Orleans Tuesday I'd bet on a good chance of rain east of there not long after. So far long range forecast seems to be for Sunday evening rain in Charlotte.
