Vent/Vacuum hoses on Solex Carb

I had placed an inquiry/response to a thread in the Engine tech forum (http://www.opelgt.com/forums/group-6...nnections.html) but received no responses in a couple days, so I thought I'd try here.

I have an early Solex, which is slightly different from everything discussed in that thread. After reading carefully, I still can not figure out what to do with a couple of the hose connectors. So, I would appreciate if someone could fill in a short explanation for A thru F in the two pics I'm attaching. I need to know where the other end of the hose should go for each of these ports. Thank you in advance!!

FYI -- You are missing the return spring which is attached to the throttle linkage before it is attached to the carb and you may want to install a hose clamp on the power brake booster hose that is connected to the intake manifold just below the carb.

Thanks! I'm still working on this one. I broke the old brittle spring as I was reconnecting it just this weekend. I'm planning to order a new spring, new grommets and new hoses. I posted this message because I wasn't sure what I needed for hoses.
Is there a throttle return spring for both the passenger and driver's side? Are they both necessary? I noticed a hole on the driver's side of the linkage that looks like a spring should be attached.

Problem may be that's not an early Solex [and] that [it] is one of the last years' Solexes. If you have early model car, you don't even have a charcoal canister and some of those vacuum hookups aren't on the earlier model either.
I have several of these cars, all years, and that is the carb I have found on the '72 and '73 model GT. I usually try to replace [them] with the earlier model solex when I run across one like your's. Or let me phrase that better, just 'cause that's the way I found them, does not always reflect that's they way they rolled off the assembly line, so I may be getting corrected.

Actually, in regards to the addition in red, it's not connected to anything. It sort of looks like it in the picture, but it's just dangling there. This is the source for some of my confusion. There is no port below the brake booster on my system. I've learned that there are some slight variations to these Solex carbs throughout the years. I have everything hooked up correctly, and as soon as I get my car back from the exhaust shop, I'll try and take some updated pictures for others to see that may have the same style of carb.
BTW - before taking it to the shop, it was running pretty smoothly. VERY LOUD without any exhaust, but quite smooth!!!
