Car Cover for GT

I tried a search but couldn't find anything. Can anyone recommend an "off the shelf" car cover that fits the GT snugly? I'm looking for a recommendation of something available at a national auto parts chain or maybe Target or Wal-Mart - something I could buy today without having to order it. With the weather looking the way it is for nationals in Charlotte, I think a good car cover would be a wise item to pack.

Thanks,

Matt

Because I am close by, you can try my custom fit California car cover that is 99% water proof. I also have one that fits my corvette too. Either one you want to borrow is fine with me.

I do have a 25ft enclosed trailer that is only a couple years old that needs some miles put on it if you would like it. It even has great big pictures of my spyder on each side and "OPEL" in real big letters too. It is a pull behind and is easy to get around with.

You can reach me at 678-858-9936, because I am not on this site as often as I'd like to be.

That's right, it's a Spyder, just like all the others you have seen... Rice Boy!

Hey Dallas - thanks for the offer but I won't have time to make it over your way between now and Friday when we leave for the show. I'll look into the California cover though as a long term option.

I use a Budge #2 sold at Wal-Mart. NOT waterproof but good to keep the dust off when in the garage. Inexpensive also, about $20. Not something to use while travelling with an open trailer either. I don't exactly what you're looking for but that's my input.

Thanks - I'm actually just looking for something cheap to throw over the car Friday night in Charlotte in case the Hurricane hits us. It should at least help keep a bunch of debris from getting thrown up against the paint job.

I went with this cover from Auto Zone. I just assumed that Opel wouldn't be listed, but there it was on the box: Opel GT and Manta size 2, all others size 3!

Thanks,

Matt
