Wouldn't that be a kicker, have a fund raiser to keep you "locked up"! Every dollar keeps him there for an extra 1-5 minutes. The catch is you actually have to go to prison for that time, good way to get your enemies to donate money!

Watching the "Jerry Lewis Telethon" for "Jerry's Kids" and the MDA was an annual event when I was a kid. The goal was to see who could last the longest without falling asleep while watching all the cheesy acts that performed and the cut aways to local fund raisers where the talent got even more cheesy. Jerry Lewis had to go all night of course. Is the telethon still on? I haven't seen it in years...
