) that I have ever seen! Totally fabulous... I agree with you about a black and white scheme. If this wins, I think it should be printed as large as possible for maximum effect. I would love to see you do one of these for the GT also, after these are printed!

I have an idea for this contest. As I am no artist I will try to describe the idea as best i can, and then maybe somone with more talent than i have can put this into a shirt design. On the front of the shirt i think that it should have just a regular picture of an old opel gt, and then on the back I think that there should be a picture of the new opel gt, in the same color as the old one on the front, with a caption under that saying "40 years of perfection" and then under that the opel blitz with the world opel through it, and then under that another caption that reads somthing like "opel...get Blitzed" or just "get blitzed". I think that it would be awesome tto use the play on words with blitz. so there is my idea and hopefully if somone else likes it it will get drawn up.

BTW nice font choice. It goes well with the supersized tires!

Yep, that's why I do them in a vector based program. Super clean lines, no pixelation, easy manipulation after you have your shapes, and most printing shops ask for it. One good thing about this site versus others is that you guys can view it as a PDF that perserves the vector quality. On Facebook or Photobucket, you have to save it as a JPEG which is obviously a pixel based viewing format.

What do you think about using the classic emblem?

I think that would look good printed white on black, like in your avatar. Actually, I like the direction of the fade in your avatar better, there seems to be less interference with the detail in the center of the lightning bolt. But I can't really tell for sure because of the low resolution of the icon.

I like Phoenix Design, I like the stub type (shortened) look. Bold Clean and to the Point. Black or White print depends on color t-shirt. But, The Manta looks perfect, I would just move it to the left a bit, and add The stub Opel GT pointing towards left, so the Two cars are pointing to each other. I would add the artwork to the Back of the t-shirt. http://www.opelgt.com/forums/attachm...irt-manta1.pdf Now thats a sharp looking t-shirt, and add a 2 inch round Blitz artwork to the left chest. I think that would look cool. I vote for Phoenix Design.

I love Tony's Manta too. Can't wait to see his others.

I like the fact that the Opel lettering is interwoven with the blitz emblem. Some parts of the a letter are in front while others are behind. Nice touch.

I'd like to use a more squared off font but this is really all that I have time for. I don't even have time to do a design that could go on the front with the cartoons before the deadline.

If you'd like to submit a design for the front after the deadline, that is fine. Just make sure to describe what the design would look like before the deadline comes. Many people are unable to produce their ideas, so a good description of the image is still acceptable.
