I don't know of anyway to take a pixel based image and make it into a vector based one. You can go the other way vector to pixel. Vector means that it uses lines to make up the shape rather than a bunch of dots. It's mathmatical. The problem with pixel based programs is that it doesn't know how to extrapolate, so when it takes a 1 inch square and makes it twice as big it just make it 4 inches big. However, it doesn't maintain the same quality of the edge because it doesn't know how to deal with the edge other than to show it just as it was when it was 2 inches. I can duplicate it in a vector program for you but it have to wait until Monday. It shouldn't take that long.

I love what you've done to this logo... It looks really professional now. Thank you so much!
![]() Just wondering- do you think the style would be complimentary to your T-shirt design?

I think your artwork came out really nice. A very fine job. I like post #47 GTMANTA.pdf w/out blitz and post#69
I think the Manta and GT looks real sharp with out Blitz, But maybe a more conventional type Blitz in the back ground, just some idea's. These T-Shirts will look sharp in single color print too. Thanks for taking some time to draw out all these idea's for us.

I just downloaded MS Expression Design, and I'm trying to figure it out. It looks a lot like Photoshop. The MS website has tutorials for it, which I'm working on. I'm hoping to have some familiarity with it before the 30 day expiration date!

I was playing around with some font ideas.
Just tell me if I'm starting to become a nuisance!

Hey, someone from Cambidge, MA has a very similar logo on a t shirt selling at e-bay. I just saw this last night. Not bad, but kind of plain.

If someone would like to dispute what the crowd seems to have chosen, I am completely willing to entertain them as it is unfair that the voting closed early. |

So is ( Phoenix ) The Official Winner of the Opel T-shirt Contest ??? Congradz, Tony Which file are you going to use ?? I like the Manta/GT Classic Opels and the last file thrill/pdf, but not too sure about the thrill Seekers part ?? But that's not for me to decide. I guess it's Tony's choice since his the winner? When ?? are the T-shirts going to be printed ?? Would make a Great Gift for that Special Opel Fan in our family's though.

Redskinsjbs and I have been talking. I think that he is either very busy or waiting on me to post images with the Ascona. We are thinking about posting all of the images on cafepress and letting everyone pick the designs, colors, and medium that they want. This would be very cool as Kadett owners would have their own Kadett shirt. Anyway, I just spent the last 3 hours on the Ascona image only to loose the file.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It will be at least a few days before I can recreate the file.

Hi All,
Sorry about my absence. Yes, I am setting up a store on cafepress where one could choose any of the provided designs and place it on whatever medium they choose. I should have the 'shop' up and running within the next few days (by Friday hopefully) and I will donate all of the proceeds to this site (Cafepress sends a check either monthly, quarterly, semesterly, or yearly. I will then transfer the funds to this site) I again am sorry for my not being here. I am hopeful that having the store open on Friday will give enough time so that gifts for the holidays can be purchased. |

Oh good, you've just solved my Christmas shopping dilemmas... Opel shirts for the whole family!
![]() ps- Tony, if people want a different catch phrase on their design here's a couple more suggestions: It's a Passion Thing No Grease, No Glory. Obsessive Propulsion
