This has been discussed a couple of times. The general consensus was that you would need an electrical motor capable of 6 digit RPM, or a blower that would take all the HP the Opel engine puts out just to gen enuff air in the intake to make it feasible. On a similar note, a local TV news staff compared about 9 of the most advertised fuel economy gadgets on different cars. After putting thousands of miles on the cars they found only one item gave an increase of about 9% in fuel economy. It was the item that sat on top of the carb and swirled the air going down the venturi.

The dead giveaway that something isn't going to work is that A.) it cheap price and B.) it’s extravagant claims. Putting a normal "fan" in front of your engine would likely make it performance worse at some microscopic level. Your engine draws more air into it than a normal fan could ever hope to deliver. This is why turbos tend to spin VERY fast, 60,000 - 120,000rpm, to deliver the necessary air. So if this fan is just going to cause a restriction in the airflow because the engine will now have to draw air around the useless piece of ****.

Save your money for a real turbo system if that is what you are after. At least you were wise enough to inquire in the validity of their claims… many others aren't hence why the market is still saturated with this garbage.
