    OPEL GT. COM decals for sale

    OK;
    Doing this up front so it doesn't get lost in the other thread. Attached below is the decals Steve Goines (stevegt) is making to sell, the profits going to the site for future maintenance and upgrades. As of right now, we have green, blue, red, yellow, white, and orange. They come in 4" and 6" sizes. The deal is $6 for (2) two decals, any color/size combo. PM me your name/address.
    Also, for those who are wondering, this vinyl that Steve is making the decals out of is a 10 year vinyl, in other words, it won't fade or crack after a year on your car, this is good quality stuff. Steve also does the vinyl lettering on the county Police and EMS vehicles where he lives. So, the quality of the decals and work is top notch.

    reverse decals

    Kevin, I tried reverse cuts but the detail was almost impossible
    to weed out the small lettering in the design...these are cut from
    premium vinyl and will last years on the outside...washings, etc

    Thanks, SteveG

    This is a coincidence - I just had my first Stone Brew on Sunday (the Smoked Porter) and saved the bottle I liked the gargoyle logo so much. That and it was my 125th beer at Taco Mac which gets me 4oz of free beer with every draft for life . Good beer for sure - sorry for going

    OPELGT.com stickers

    Hey Folks, just an update on the OPELGT.com
    stickers...Gene (BQS4) has plenty on hand now

    Colors: Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Orange & Black (Black in just a day or two)

    As Gene said earlier these are cut from Premium Grade vinyl so will last many
    years without fading or cracking...I wanted to add a secret or two for your
    application on your vehicle as they are not quite like a printed decal

    1. Make sure surface is clean & grease free..we use alcohol..let dry
    2. Temp needs to be at least 50 degrees
    3. Lay sticker face down on flat surface and pull paper backing off slowly if one of the tiny letters pulls up simply rub back down and pull backing off
    4. Stickers can be appied wet or dry...wet you can use Windex...if wet it gives you a little time to make sure it's where you want it...after backing is removed spray vinyl with the Windex...go ahead it won't hurt it...then apply
    5 Squeege the decal once applied (credit card works great) to activate adhesive...if wet let dry for a while then remove masking...if dry wait 10 minutes then slowly remove masking at a sharp angle...done

    Be careful not to use high pressure spray on the sticker...also these can be waxed over if on the paint surface with no problem

    You had me worried there because I asked for white and thought I might be placed on back order.

    OK;
    If you initually ordered decals, I just got back from mailing them out, even to the Canucks. There is one on hold till the black ones come in, and 2 on hold till the GA meet next weekend. This is just an update.

    Got mine...

    ...and they look great! I don't know if new member rates per month are tracked for the site or not, but it would be interesting to see if the new member join rate increases over time after a number of cars are on the road with these decals on display...

    Thanks!
