To Ron
Hi RON, The gang here in Washington missed you this year at the Nationals. We did have a seat reserved for you with Air Conditioning, Shade, and a Ice Cold Lemon Aide! Really, we did. I know that you were disappointed that you could not make the trip, so were we. But that is O.K. WE understand... Hey Buddy, take care of your self. Life is not easy these days. We will all have our turn. We wish you the best, we do think of you and say kind Prayers for you Ron. Bless You And your family. Take Care.

Ron
It has been a lesson in Opels reading and following your threads and posts over the last few years. Give it your all and kick it in the butt.

Ron, I'm another one to never have met you but have enjoyed your posts and threads and am impressed by all who you have helped in the Opel community and their respect they have for you. I hope you get better and beat your illness.

Hey Ron,
We've met a few times over the past couple of years at SD Opel events. The knowledge you have on Opels was always amazing to me. Here's a perfect example: My GT was giving Jim and I a hard time a month or two ago so Jim told me that he called and asked you for your opinion on the problem and wouldn't you know it... You were absolutely correct... without even seeing or touching the car you knew exactly what the problem was. Amazing! Get well soon Ron! We have many more Opel events to attend! ~HUGS~ Robin aka sdopel |

Ron
Not sure if you would remember but Connie and I did get to talk with you a bit at the 2005 OMC Picnic. Got to check out your car at that stage and watch it's progress. Like others we want to wish you the best. Seeing your avatar in a thread line always brings a smile and your posts are always good. Hang Tough! John & Connie |

Visited Ron and Margaret
I was there all day Tuesday with Ron (Otto called and spoke to Ron and me on speaker phone that was awesome thanks so much Otto. I know Ron appreciated the call.) He is doing well for a man who has fought stage 4 lung cancer since last September and he is in good spirits thanks to all the kind people here on this forum and the Yahoo classic opel group, and the local OMC members Mr. Martinez made a special visit on Thursday so at least 2 of us went to cheer him up. I heard from Margaret this AM and she said the visits and emails and phone calls are keeping his spirits up so THANKS TO ALL OF YOU for your kind and thoughtful acts of friendship. Keep it up it helps Jim M |
