This statement, if correct, means your wires aren't in order. The #2 cyl. is fourth in the fire order. The firing order is 1-3-4-2. Check to make sure your spark plug wires are in this order!

ok so i pull the engine a part
can't see any damage little scoring
one bearing cap was i little tight
nothing major
so

Did you check the cam lobes. I bought a Manta once and it was running on three cylinders. They thought it had serious internal engine problems. Was just bad cam lobes on one cylinder. George.

well i guess iam in for a complete rebuild
the machinest i took my egine to said the last guy f##k me
thats why i had all the issues
head wasn't rebuild right wrong ehxast seat no case harded valves
didn't clean the block right turned the crank wrong. so called them they said without paper work could't do any thing for me.and if i had paper proable not because it rebuild in 06. but think because it should have lasted longer then 638 miles. so i won't be recommening them for ever again
