Rekord 3800 V6?

howsit guys..
im a little curious..

this guy is selling a 3800 V6 wich apparantly comes from a Rekord..
but i cant find any information on the net about this motor..
Does anyone have any info on this for me?

Hi,
it can´t be a stock engine of Opel/germany. The engine with the largest stock-displacement ist the 3,2ltr. V6. The biggest ever used engine in a Rekord I knew, was the 2,2ltr. CIH. May be, Holden had produced a Rekord with a chevy V6?

I found this Post randomly.

There is a Rekord I380 V6.

It was a Holden Engine with 3,8 Liter.

Definitely Aussie conversion . . . did you notice right-hand drive (brake booster) in pic?

. . . also the exact same OP sender as our GTs use!
