Nice Fuse Box cover
Opel Manta/Ascona/1900 Fuse Panel Cover-NOS:eBay Motors (item 290350637482 end time Sep-23-09 21:00:30 PDT) To each his own though, there can't be many of these left in the world. It would be pretty easy to make a little copper or brass clip to fix a broken cover that would last forever. Maybe somebody will start fabricating them. I sold an entire running Manta with title in 1989 for $50. Beat up, yes, but reliable. Question: What's the least you ever paid for a running Opel, or better, one you could drive home?

I bought a 1974 Manta in 1995 for $50.00. The car was a VERY clean original. I drove it home, but it had a bad cam in it. Replaced the cam and lifters, it was a great runner. Wish I never sold that one. That was my last Opel I owned until the Ascona I bought earlier this year. George.

I paid $150 for my first Opel(1980). 1972 Raylle(Manta). 135K on the clock. I had to tow it home. It had a bad cam. I wish I kept it, but I moved up to a '74 Luxus with a bad motor(1981). That one died from rust(formerly a CT car).
I drove my GT home, but that one cost 1500.00(Still have it )

That fuse box cover happens to be going on my original 74 Manta rusting out in the field. I just couldn't stand to see the weather deteriorate my fusebox-ha,ha,ha

OK since I can't beat "FREE"
In 1970 I bought a Martin 00-18 guitar from $50 and now they sell for $2000-$5000 Guess I should stop throwing it around!
