Go Twins!! Yeah, Go Angels too!
It's not like I don't like the Yankees, it's just I'm not pulling for them until they have to knock off the Red Sox (who stole the Yankee recipe of paying lots of money to sign players). Give me a cheap team that has lots of heart, kinda like our Opels! I want the days of $2 bleacher seats and $1 hotdogs again. Yeah, Go Angels too. Jerry |

From mlb.com:"But the rhythm of the game would not relent. In the 11th, Mauer led off against left-hander Damaso Marte. On the third pitch of the at-bat, Mauer hit a drive down the line that was chased by left-field umpire Phil Cuzzi. The ball might have landed a foot fair, but Cuzzi called it foul. "You can't see at all from the dugout," Gardenhire said, "but I think we all know the ball was fair by a long ways." Tim Tschida, the crew chief, agreed. "The left-field-line umpire saw the ball as foul and called what he saw, rendered the foul decision," he said. "Afterwards, like any close play, we went in and we looked at [the replay], and it's a clear indication that an incorrect decision was rendered."

Joining the Yankees and Red Sox in the $100 million club are the New York Mets at $115.2 million, the Los Angeles Angels at $109.2 million, the Chicago White Sox at $108.7 million, the Los Angeles Dodgers at $108.4 million, and the Seattle Mariners at $106.5 million. So out of the seven teams who spent over 100 million 3 of them stink. Oh and did you see who 4th place was....your "cheap" Angels. |
