Just found a new (to me) parts source on line for some hard to find Opel parts that has free shipping on orders over $50 and you can do a Google search for a discount code as well! It is Auto Parts Nerd.com and I was able to get some parts for my 1967 Kadett.

That's a well organized site! Once you get your car entered you can do database searches by keyword and/or navigate through all the major parts categories using the drop-down list.

I just spent a few minutes on the site. I learned that the earliest model year which it recognizes for Opel is 1967. Maybe someone should tell them that the 1966 Opel Kadett is the same car as the 1967! Anyway, they don't have anything for a 1962 Rekord. Bill

i found one thing for the manta, rear shocks i could not find another thing maybe its better for other models

Found quite abit for 71/72 GT's. Did not try to order anything yet.

I've ordered from them before. Not Opel parts but for a different car. My encounter was nothing less than perfect. Ordered the part (good price for product and shipping) and it showed up extremely quick. I would order from them again. (because everything went smooth I did not actually talk to anyone that works for that company so I could not comment on their customer service).

I ordered 1.1 Kadett (1967) front brake rotors and pads. They were about $10 less each than I found elsewhere and brake pads (Beck/Arnley). No calipers listed though.
