Workers not so jazzed on GM decision...

Apparently Opel workers don't think it is such great news that GM is keeping them...

They see jobs and $$$ going away..It could still work out if GM would just replace Saturn dealerships with Opels in the USA.

what that is way too smart for gm No they will keep f###ing it up again why don't they get a clue and build some real cars

. . . could that possibly be because Opel has ALWAYS been treated like the proverbial 'black sheep' stepchild of GM. Any US Brand Manager level executive that had any Opel management in his resume was automatically assumed to have been 'punished' for some infraction or other within GM Corporate!

. . . Saturns have always just been essentially 'rebadged' Opels in any case . . . chassis, engines, drivetrain, suspension, etc . . .

Nothing but another testament to GM's continued non-support of anything even remotely resembling NIH . . . Not Invented Here!!
