    Japanese Kadett A?

I saw this on BAT, and initially thought it was a 4 door Kadett A
Cool little car. With a 2.2L 4 cyl. engine, I'm guessing it moves well.
    More info here...

The 411 Datsun was fairly common in my area back in the day. A friend of mine had one.

It was not a very impressive car to ride in as I recall. Very slow, noisy and rough riding even for the time compared to some other small imports back then.

The 411's only real strong point was it's looks which were fairly pleasant for the time.
Almost European for the time. A bit like some of the Fiats also imported back then like the Fiat 1200 and 1800 sedans.

Except for being rare a surviving example. Not much really to recommend about the 410/411 Datsun sedans. Imo.

If someone is looking for a Datsun which is a bit more unusual, I know where a Datsun Fairlady has been sitting under a carport for a number of years. I don't know if the car is for sale, anything about its mechanical condition, or for sure who owns it, but I do know who owns the house and could probably get some information if anyone is interested. The 311 roadsters had a little more to offer.
Even with there odd x-type brakes.

    Hi Mark,
I can't say I remember these when new, but the styling did catch my eye. Also reminiscent of an early Alfa Romeo Berlina, as someone else pointed out.

It probably made a difference if a Datsun dealer was in your area or not.
We had one from the early sixties on as I recall. They are still in business selling only Nissans.
