    Here we go again....

I'm typing this from my room at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, GA. I went in yesterday to have a catharization done to check for blockages, well, it turns out I have one completely blocked and one about 75% blocked. A Stent (Google it). Looks like I will be having bypass surgery on Monday. So I appreciate your prayers as Im trying ti get back to a more healthier life.

As for the Gwinnett Tech Car show this weekend, I will not be there, Carlisle is a day to day thing, we;ll see. But as for now, Im doing fine, no pain whatso ever, just wanting to get over this hurdle, and on the road to recovery.

    Bypass surgery

Prayers to you sir. Been there, done that, and got the t-shirt too. You will feel amazing once it's done. Kinda like shock absorbers, we grow old with them and never realize how weak they are until they get replaced. Hopefully you get a set of high performance shocks.
My surgery was 18 years ago, and other than a slight tune up with a couple of stints, bypasses are doing fine. Keep us posted.

Gene, not exactly where anyone wants to be, but I have no doubts that you will come through with flying colors. I will say a little prayer to the big guy. Yep, my buddy is right: "Growing old ain't for sissies."
