    Weber carburetor wrench tip

Here's a little tip for making those Weber carbs easier to remove and install. I purchased an inexpensive 13 mm wrench, and heated it near the box end to a dull red color with an oxy-acetylene torch, then bent it at an angle, just under 90 degrees.
Now accessing the bolts nearest to the cylinder head is much easier, and leverage can also be applied via another tool to the open end of the wrench. You'll never want to do it any other way after that! I've had this wrench for over 15 years....

PS, also works on distributor hold-down bolts.

Here's the wrench as it would be used on a Weber. Notice the accessibility around the Weber, and the use of another wrench to apply torque.
