OK GA Opelers;
Just got off the phone with Edwin and he says what about the Delkwood Grill on Saturday June the 28th from 11AM till? He says it's got an opening at that time, and Edwin has a few days to "lock it in" Check your calenders!!!

Here's an alternative: I wanted to upload this for the last two days already, so here it is. My wife and I have our 10-years-in-the-USA party at the exact same date, June 28th. Everybody who has time is invited. As always on our parties, food and drinks are on us. We start at about 6pm, and the party is open-ended.
Attached is our "formal" invitation. Let me know how many will be coming so I can plan for food & drinks!

That would be awesome - the only time I've had a real Cuban cigar was in the Bahamas many years ago. Maybe with Fidel sort of gone, we can get their Cigars here again...

Please everybody don't get me wrong, I didn't want to foil your plans and efforts, but the date for our party was set about 2 month ago (or more like 10 years ago...), and we just started invitations 2 days ago. If the happening at the Delkwood was any other day I would be happy to be there and invite to our own party additionally. Just want to make sure you don't think I'm a party "crasher".

Actually both are doable - since one is lunch and the other is in the evening. I'm not sure we can do both that same day but it's possible. Anyway, your event is a one time deal. I assume many of your guests are not Opel nuts and so maybe they would enjoy having all the Opels show up for an added diversion. Just a thought...

OK this is what has been decided:
Since Dieter's is marking a special occassion, we'll go with Dieter's. Edwin checked last night, at the Delkwood Grill and they have several openings after the 4th of July, so we'll reschedule till then, but, this is an important milestone for our GA members, Dieter and Nicole, so, everyone to Dieter's on the 28th !!

theres a june date , a july date and a september date + we will be in micky land in november

hum will have to do some working out ,then some figuring out ,then maybe some moving out before i will get permission for 2 or more trips to the states in one year but you never know , i have all the addresses , all the airports worked out and i have my "opels are c*** give me a vauxhall every time" tee-shirts (something i worked out with Gary a few years ago for a carlisle gag to see how long it took to be recognised

)
and it has been a few years since i was in the "Empire State of the South"
so you never know

man, oh man. i'm going to miss out on the festivities. i have to drive to cleveland for a wedding (not in the opel). i will catch the next opel party you can bet. opel is at maaco now getting repainted the original fireglow. have a good time y'all.
