Thrown like a knife. The way it was explained to me (didn't see this) was that a "magician act" that used to perform there would ask a person to pick a card and write their name on it in marker. The card would then be put back into the deck. The magician would then "find" their card in the deck somehow and then throw it straight up to the ceiling where it would stick in place. Supposedly, some of the cards had been stuck up there for years without falling and no one was willing to admit they knew how he did it.

You probably saw the ceiling when you passed out backwards but by then it was too late

The cards in the ceiling sounds interesting. There was a bar in Moss Landing CA that had dollar bills attached to ceiling, walls, everywhere. People passing through would sign, date and then stick them up. They had been at it for years. Just before we left CA the place decided to gather them all up and donate to charity. I can't remember how much it totaled up to be but was quite a chunk of change.

Huh, thinking about it I looked it up, and wouldn't you know it, CA strikes again. Fire Dept. won't let them do it anymore.....

were is the november meet going to be, i just moved to the Savannah area and was wanting to get to meet some of the opelrs in this area, mines still out in cali but will hopefully be coming out here in december. i would bring my other "opel" aka my solstice.

The food is being furnished by member Edwin Monsees (edwinopel), you just show up and bring your own drinks, and be prepared to talk about Opels!

Sue and I will be there. probably bring two cars because she doesn't trust the opel. any food would be great, just excited to see what another opel looks like. does any one need any extra parts for a GT? i got a bunch.

Cuban cigars are against the law and I work for uncle Sam so it is a big nono. Lets call them cheap cigars for now and we all know what they are anyway.

I am limited however to the available stock of approx 80 cigars, ranging from mild to my lung just exploded. I believe the best course of action will be the small Don Fellows which are specially made to complement heavy drinking.

Absolutely. However, anyone can buy Cuban cigars made with pre-embargo tobacco. They sell them at the cigar store near my house. How they prove the tobacco is that old I don't know...

I'm out. Me and the GT will be in NC for the Halloween Bar Crawl. Blame Atmosphere's lame Bikini Contest for not keeping me in town. Looking for the Polar Bear Run later this year and maybe, somebody wants to ride in with me to Luby's Tuner Night. The security guys were all over my GT this past Saturday but I had other places to be.

Not if you've been to some of the ones that I've been to. Been a judge at a good one. Been to ones where strippers come out. This was over inside of 10 minutes and over by midnight. 6 girls and they weren't that great. Usually a bunch of Hooters girls come out.

Looking forward to it. i've never seen another opel and am eager to learn a few things. i've spent all of my iraq tour money on the opel and it still needs some things improved on it, especially on the inside. don't forget to say what time it starts. anybody bringing some georgia moonshine?
