Great turn-out - nine Opels in all and a good sized group of folks. It was great seeing everyone and meeting some new people as well. Thanks for supplying the food Edwin!

Well those of the GA Opelers that didn't make it, you missed it, Mother Nature provided a picture perfect day. The food was great, THANK YOU Edwin! The Opel talk was great, we've even got plans for our next meet at the Delkwood Bar/Grill. Edwin will confirm a date for us on Monday, hopefully around the third weekend in Jan 09. We had two new GA Opelers show up, Mark and Steve, and they were much welcomed into the group. As you can see we had a good turn out, Opel wise, as there was 9 cars in all. Matt has posted a couple of pics, but, I will post more.

First of all, Edwin, I guess we owe you one for the great food.
I had a great time eventhough I got the shaft due to my late arrival picking up the boss. The best part about it was I got no phone calls and was undisturbed all afternoon. It was great seeing the many vehicles (and owners) which we all got to talk about and express a few opppppinions here and there. Perhaps on the next meet Stealth will make its debut. Great time, great people, can't get any better.... Last edited by BQS4; 11-02-2008 at 07:40 PM.. |

Sorry that I missed the get together. I would have loved to have been there but I had a lot of fun in North Carolina. I'll be out for the next one and want to do the Polar Bear Run. Hate missing the usually and also would have like to see our first timers, plus I've been urging Eric to come out for a while. Also, been wanting to Dieter new paint. Looks great and the stripe is very cool.

Keep up with these events coming in the near future. I would suggest going up to "thread tools" and marking "subscribe to this thread" for both. That way it'll send you an email notification.
