GA Opeler's Next Meet

OK;
Edwin has us slated for the 24th of Jan at the Delkwood Bar/Grill. So now would be the time for comments. No food has to be brought, just be there and be prepared to talk about Opels

And don't forget our in-between outing to the Savannah race track on December 13th and 14th, to cheer for Ernie Bello and his Kadett C racer. To be there for sure as of now:
- Edwin
- Gene
- Dieter
- Tony ???
Who else is interested? This is not to necessarily bring the Opel, so if somebody wants to leave the Opel behind or is just looking for a ride, speak up! I plan on going there on Saturday morning, and leave back after the race on Sunday afternoon.

...plus there is the Polar Bear run December 27th. We are busy! I can't make the Savannah date (or the Polar Bear run) but may be able to make the January 24th, 2009 meet. I won't know for a while...

I'm in for the Polar Bear Run and don't have anything scheduled for Jan 24th BUT Dec 13th is iffy. My friend wants me back up in NC for his birthday, my birthday and our friends birthday. HUGE get together. Bunch of GA girls heading up to meet the legendary NC girls.

I checked my calendar, had to do it several times since I am very busy these days, but I will be able to attend both dates. I only have a show to go to on the 6th and everything else is wide open.

Dieter do you have a schedule for the Roebling Road events?
I would like to try to make at least Sat. events. Even went to the VDCA's web site without any luck for the break down.

Delkwood date sounds good pencil me in.

That leaves the Polar bear run '08 ...depends on where my bed is over the holiday season. I might be out of state.

As long as he allows my Jägermeister to BE the pace car, then it'll be looooots of fun!

As for the schedule, I have only this. Maybe Ernie can help us? I'll PM him and post any replies here.

I propose to make the next meeting a Dallas-Mize-Memorial-Meeting, and hold it at the place where he lived - if Tera agrees to it of course.

I believe this to be a nice gesture however it might open up a few feelings and make his wife uncomfortable.

We could do it at a different location and invite his wife to join us.
