We're going to have to have a good showing this year, so, even if you have to tow/trailer/push it here, let's get as many here as possible this year

Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would take this long to get the '70 ready.
I let ya'll down last year by not being there when saying I would.
So there's one hell of a push this year not to do the same thing.
Forgive me fellow Opellers I'll try to do better this year.

Hey all,
Myself (with new replacement titanium elbow) Carol and the GT should all be there.
Looking forward to it as usual.
Got to get the left arm back into shape by then so I can drive the GT with it's "power steering by armstrong" feature.
I've been having to drive the only automatic tranny car we own as of late.
Not bad, but I'm used to shifting for myself.

P.S. Dieter CAN cook! Whatever name or language you want to call it!

Just put about 50lbs of air in the front tires and you can steer it with two fingers!

In going back to refresh my memory on the date and time for this show, I noticed that the Snellvilledays.com web site has very little detail on the car show itself (including not mentioning how you would go about entering a car in the show). However, I did find this flyer on the Snellville.org web site which gives some additional details:

That would make quite a site - one of my "orphans" dragging in the other "orphan" in a million pieces

. I'm pretty sure the Opel needs to stay in TN where the work is being done but I may come with the Olds Intrigue. I'm just trying to work out the logistics for that weekend.

Basically it goes like this, we meet at my house about 8am, drive over as a group to Briscoe Park, about 10 minutes from my house and get lined up as a group, then register your car(s). That way we all stay together. We make a little area to set up the cabanas and chairs and enjoy the day!

I will try to be there this year. Me and the boys enjoyed it two years ago. I will have to check the various scout activities. ( it seams there is always something going on).
